In its issue No. 390 of June 2008 Health Magazine as one of his articles "The vagaries of desire" . An article which I say "thank you". Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you. Especially that the author is a woman, it's Véronique Châtel! So I can not help you to share an excerpt, which will reassure more than one (at least I hope) and give you the urge to read the full article immensely interesting (buy this number really worth it!).
[The author takes the example of a man who does not notice that his girlfriend came out of the hairdresser. the latter inferred from the low attention of his partner. So "can hang his desire" (says Frédérique Hédon, psychologist and sex therapist for over 15 years)]
"The example is admittedly overused, but how are we not to have had in a register or another anxiety-related lack of attention to the other? Yes, the lack of attention to women is often perceived as a failure in love another by the latter. Attention to errors of interpretation! Quickly integrate the reality that the men may be watching as we do. More exactly, it does not look like we expect. Therefore, it is elementary to accept that their visual distraction reflects neither the desire nor the commitment they bring us. "
The rest of the article is a little less flattering for men but not for this passage I say THANK . Thank you for your incredible understanding Madame (some are missing a few times)!
